Below are pie charts and bar
graphs illustrating the results of an independent survey of Dish usage conducted
from May 12 through May 18, 2001. The survey collected demographic information,
including zip codes of users and frequency of use. The survey also asked Dish
users their views on conditions at the Dish, on the elements of the Dish policy
that went into effect on September 1, 2000, and on recomended improvements. 2,241
Dish users - an estimated 80% of those visiting the Dish during this period -
completed the survey. The survey will be used to inform Stanford processes for
maintenance and improvements of the Dish area.
